The Student Grievance Committee has been constituted in order to redress academic and non-academic grievances of students in the college. Appropriate remedial measures are taken based on nature of the grievances. The committee functions with the following objectives.
Objectives
- Upholding the decorum of the college through promoting congenial atmosphere for students.
- Encouraging the students to express their grievances.
- To provide the students the proper counseling to resolve their complaints.
- Ascertain the prompt and necessary actions that are taken on the grievances.
Grievances submission mechanism
- The aggrieved student(s) may directly approach the Convener/Coordinator of appropriate committee with a written application. The details of the committees can be found in Academic calendar and the college website.
- Grievances, on plain paper with complainant’s I.D proof may be posted in complaint box kept outside the Principal’s office.
- Students are advised to express their academic related grievances to the concerned faculty members and Head of the Department. In the case of non compliance of grievance, the student may approach the Coordinator, student grievance Redrassal committee with a written application.
- Aggrieved student (s) may also submit their grievance in writing to the Principal.
